  4. As always great pictures Hemanth! The guest house and the Buddha are the best though. The short legged goat, the water mill, the rocket festival were all great bits to read. That Mekong has Myanmar on one side and Laos PDR on the other is another interesting info. The story about the gold in the water is truly unbelievable but it’s the story of the land. Your writing helps us understand the culture and habits of the place. Enjoyed reading it! Waiting for the next one!

    1. Thank you Savithri.

I think so far I have written nine episodes of my Lao experiences and I am coming to the end. Maybe in two or three episodes this series would draw to a close.

      Thank you for following regularly.
      Much appreciated and much obliged!

    1. Yes Maya.

Now that you mention I think Petanque (Boules in France) is a game similar to that played with Golis (Marbles) in Tamil Nadu. And I remember that I was good at that too! :-)

Thank you for reminding of my childhood a bit.

Thank you for your time, indulgence and kind thoughts.
      Much appreciated and much obliged!
