  1. These are the most unlikely places to visit for readers like me who haven't travelled much. Luckily your write up gave us a glimpse of inherent beauty in the topography of the place and the buildings there. The photographs have come out very well embellishing the post.
Unless one is well versed in cooking, spending months there as you did is very near difficult. Communication in the interior parts would have been toughunless people understand English

    1. Thank you so kindly dear Mr. Parthasarathi.

Much appreciated for your time and much obliged for your thoughts.

I am documenting my six month sojourn in Laos PDR in a serialised manner and you may expect a few more in due course of time.

      Best wishes and warm regards

  2. All the pics are so good. Your write up reminds me of our Thailand and Cambodia trips. Look forward to more write ups and also specifically on Mekong river. Awesome Hemanth 👍

  3. Hi Hemanta,

Thank you for bringing back memories of lovely Luang Prabang. It's a place that I would definitely love to retire in. What will be its fate in the future when it is connected by the Laos-China railway, one can only guess.

    1. Thank you so kindly dear Mr. Percy Aaron, for your time and indulgence.

      Much valued and much obliged.

Yes, many a time, I too wonder about the loss of tranquility.
But one reaps what one sows!

We have to just watch time pass by making many changes through its tide!

      Best wishes and warm regards
